Morris "Ray" Teutsch was born to LaMonte G. & Louise N. (Brown) Teutsch on May 18, 1938, in Jacksonville, Texas.

He passed from this life on September 3, 2025, in New Braunfels, Texas at the age of 87.

He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Jane B. (Rosenblath) Teutsch of New Braunfels; daughter, Jane Caraway Teutsch of New Braunfels; son, Carl LaMonte Teutsch & wife, Joyce Miley Teutsch of Galveston; nephew on the Teutsch side, Eric C. Teutsch and his two children, Adrianna and Eric Teutsch, Jr. of Canyon Lake and from the Rosenblath side, ten nephews and nieces, as well as their children and many other additional relatives & dear friends.

Morris Ray's schooling began in the town of Rusk, Texas. After he finished high school, he left Rusk on a football scholarship to Kilgore Junior College. From there he went to Baton Rouge to finish his education at Louisiana State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree.

Ray started in the business world with Corn Products and in 1967 he was hired as a Vice President of Lone Star Brewery. He joined Standard Sales Company, a Budweiser Distributorship company in Odessa TX in 1979. Eventually, Ray purchased the business and continued expanding the territory into Mississippi, Colorado and then into Kentucky.

As a very devout Christian, he and his family attended church on a regular basis, wherever they lived, mostly local Anglican churches and would serve in leadership roles that utilized his business background, to help the church and congregation.

Ray is known for his love of football, tennis, and golf. And anyone who hears his phone ring knows he still loves LSU (Go Tigers!).

He loved his family and encouraged his two children and many other children (now adults who call him Mr. T) by helping them to be the best that they could be. He coached, sponsored, and enabled many youth to succeed in their life endeavors, dreams and loves. He even supported his wife Jane's love of horses and Arabian horse racing.

A Graveside Service will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at Hill Country Memorial Gardens, 11700 SH-46, New Braunfels, Texas 78132.

A Memorial Service and Celebration of Life will be held at 11:30 AM on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at Christ Our King Anglican Church, 115 Kings Way, New Braunfels, Texas 78132, followed by a reception.
