Nancy Dee Watson was born on December 6, 1955, to Reuben H. & Gloria Mae (Mosley) Bentley in Austin, Texas.  She passed from this life on June 11, 2021, in Garden Ridge, Texas at the age of 65.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband, Gregory D. Watson and her nephew, Richard D. Green.

She is survived by her daughters, Brandy Damron (John) of Katy, Texas, and Tiffany Watson (Shaun) of New Braunfels, Texas; granddaughters, Charlotte Damron and Reese DeLellis; grandsons, Jacob DeLellis, Dane DeLellis, and Chase DeLellis; sisters, Carolyn Brown (Allen) and Sharon McCarty; and also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, additional relatives and dear friends.

Nancy graduated from Theodore Roosevelt High School (where she met her future husband) and received a bachelor's degree in Education from Southwest Texas State University.  She was an art teacher for over three decades at Corbett and Dobie Junior High Schools.  She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Huguenot Society, Daughters of the Republic of Texas, and United Daughters of the Confederacy.  One of her favorite hobbies was to travel with family and friends.

A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM (with the family receiving friends one hour prior) on Wednesday, June 23, 2021, at Doeppenschmidt Funeral Home in New Braunfels, Texas.  Burial will follow at 3:30 PM at Clover Hill Cemetery in Lott, Texas.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to The Leukemia Lymphoma Society.
