Nylwon "Nell" Eskridge, daughter of the Late L.E. and Grace Holt, passed away in New Braunfels, Texas on November 12, 2025.

Nell was an avid sports fan with particular interest in football. She was a devoted fan of the Arkansas Razorbacks and Dallas Cowboys for decades. She had a gregarious and outgoing personality and could strike up a conversation with anyone. She remained young at heart throughout her life. She always had a smile or a kind word for those around her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother Eugene Holt. She is survived by her sister, Una Mae, and her children; daughters, Jeri Zerr (Husband Warren), Kay Nussbaum (Husband Allan), and sons, Jeff Eskridge, and John Eskridge (Wife Debbie); grandchildren, Cade, Caroline, Valerie, Kelly, Jonathan, Sarah, Katherine, and Megan as well as numerous nieces and nephews, along with 11 great grandchildren.

A Visitation will be held at Doeppenschmidt Funeral Home in New Braunfels, Texas on Wednesday November 19, 2025, from 11:30 AM until 1:30 PM followed by a Memorial Service at 1:30 PM.
