In Loving Memory of Patricia "Pat" (Pritchard) Flesher

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a beloved woman, Patricia "Pat" (Pritchard) Flesher, who departed this world on November 22, 2023. Pat, a cherished daughter, sister, aunt, wife, music teacher and friend, left a harmonic note on the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Born on March 14, 1936, in Omaha, Nebraska; she was the youngest of 6 siblings.  She went on to study at St. Mary's College where she received her bachelor's degree and the University of Notre Dame where she received a Master's Degree in Music Education.

Professionally, Pat was a Sister of Mercy for some time, where she served her community as a teacher.  She eventually left the order, but continued teaching in Niles, Michigan, in Hot Springs Village, Arkansas, and in Canyon Lake/New Braunfels, Texas.

A woman of many talents, but her most beloved talent was music.  Pat played, wrote, and sang her heart out.  She was a talented and gifted pianist.   Often, you would find her listening to music, humming, or singing around the house.  Singing brought her joy, and she wasn't shy singing loudly, especially in Church.  She shared her joy of music with her many, many students whom she taught piano and singing lessons.

In 1999, Pat married Gene Flesher.  Pat was a devoted wife to Gene.  Together, they enjoyed their dogs, cruises, traveling, faith, and shared a love for music and singing.  Pat reignited Gene's passion for playing the guitar and banjo, where he'd play and Pat would sing.  Pat became a step-mother to Gene's adult sons Bill (Laura) and Brody (Rachel).  She was Grandma Pat to Bill and Laura's daughters, Emily and Ashley.

Pat was a woman of faith, and was actively involved at her Church- Saint Francis by the Lake Episcopal Church.  Pat assisted the Church however she could, as her faith in God was a constant in her life.  As an active member of the choir, her passion for music will be missed.

As we bid farewell to Pat Flesher, we find solace in the memories we shared and the love she leaves behind. In honoring her memory, let us celebrate a life well-lived and a woman well-loved.

A memorial service will be held on March 16, 2024 at 11 AM at Saint Francis by the Lake in Canyon Lake, Texas.

Luncheon will immediately follow.
