Phyllis Jane Browning, 82, passed away on May 23, 2023 at home in New Braunfels, Texas. Born September 10, 1940 in Beaumont, Texas to George Rankin Browning and Ena (Folse) Browning, she married and raised four children, her greatest joy in life.

Stricken with illness, Phyllis persevered through many trials and hardships with enduring faith in God. She worked in various employments to make her way, and enjoyed sewing, nature, music, and candy. Phyllis had a close relationship with her Savior and appreciated the beauty and the mysteries of creation. She was witty, spontaneous, and endearing in her later years eliciting lasting bonds with the many who provided her care.

She is survived by her brother David Browning and his wife Connie, her sister Marilyn and her husband Isaac Creador; her children and their spouses; Frank and Cristal Fertitta, Patrick and Reba Fertitta, Nancy and Jeff Kelley, and Phillip and Teena Fertitta; along with grandchildren Joshua, Jeremiah and Justin Kelley, Mackenzie Fertitta, Sean Sonnier and 4 great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on May 26, 2023 at Hill Country Memorial Gardens in New Braunfels, Tx.
