Rafael A. Rodriguez Sr., 74, of Canyon Lake, Texas, passed away peacefully on July 20, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. Born on March 29, 1951, in Monterrey, Mexico, Rafael brought strength, humor, and heart to every life he touched.

A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend, Rafael is survived by his beloved wife, Ingrid Hack; his children, Rafael A. Rodriguez Jr. (Mando) and Shanna M. Pearson; and his cherished grandchildren, Quinn Pearson, Landon Pearson, Izaiah Rodriguez, and Ezra-James Rodriguez.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Maria Rodriguez, and his brother, Josè Rodriguez.

Rafael proudly worked as a commercial landscaper for the McDonald's franchise until his retirement. He was known for his meticulous care and the pride he took in his work — leaving behind beauty in every flower bed and tree he touched. A man of few words but deep wisdom, he taught by example and loved with quiet devotion.

Rafael's legacy lives on in his family and in the earth he tended.
