Raymond Lee Dietert was born to Bodo Adolph & Vivian (Goebel) Dietert on December 17, 1944 in New Braunfels, Texas

He passed from this life on November 20, 2023 in New Braunfels, Texas at the age of 78.

Raymond was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Nicky Hartdegen of New Braunfels; children, Kathy Jagmin of Las Vegas, Nevada, Alex Hage & wife, Maggie Moore of Austin, Texas and Alice Robles of  Luling, Texas; brothers, Mike Dietert & wife, Linda and Russell Dietert & wife, Laura; grandchildren, Ryan Baeten,  Haylee Baeten, Conner McClain, Ashley Janak & husband, Justin, Shelby Pritchett & husband, Calton and Grace Drabek; great-grandchildren, Jase & Joshua Janak and numerous nieces, nephews, additional relatives and dear friends.

Raymond was a deeply loved husband, father, stepfather, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

He was an independent Registered Professional Land Surveyor in Comal and surrounding Counties.  Raymond loved working on his cattle ranch.  He also enjoyed hunting to provide meat for the family in Texas and Western states.

Raymond was a proud member of the first 4-year class to go through Canyon High School from 1959 - 1963.  He also graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Southwest Texas State and was a member of Hermann Sons.

There will be private family services per Raymond's wishes.
