Our beloved Rhonda Gail Colgan, 68, went to be with the Lord on Monday, August 7, 2023, at home at Canyon Lake. She was born on September 1, 1954, in Hobbs, New Mexico, to Ira and Loretta (Scott) Woods.

Rhonda was a wife, mother, and homemaker. She also worked as a supervisor for the United States Postal Service. She was passionate about her family, cooking, gardening and fishing. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Gary; her children, Sarah Glowka (Scott), Julie Colgan, Amy Crocker, Elizabeth Colgan (Kevin); a brother Ricky Woods and sister Beverly Alton; her dozen grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and a sister.

A funeral service will be held at 9 am on August 19, 2023, at Doeppenschmidt Funeral Home at Canyon Lake in Sattler, Texas. Burial will follow at the San Marcos Cemetery.
