Ronald E Buchholz, 85, was born September 14th, 1939 in Northern California passed away peacefully to be with his heavenly father Jesus Christ on Wednesday, January 22nd, 2025 at his home in New Braunfels, Texas. Ron married Bette Davis on October 24th, 1959.  Ron and Bette welcomed their son Ron (Ronnie) on July 22nd, 1963.

Ron served his country in the US Marine Corps for 4 years. He worked at Rockwell in Southern California and retired from there. While working at Rockwell he also served as a Reserve Police Officer for the City of Montebello.

Ron had several hobbies, he was an old school gear head who loved working on vehicles, woodworking, enjoyed hunting and fishing and being a lifetime member of the Elks Lodge, VFW and American Legion. Ron and Bette loved to travel in their fifth wheel and were camp hosts for many years.

Ron is survived by his wife Bette, his son Ron and wife Tracy, grandson Jason Heath, granddaughter Mindy Osborn and husband Forrest and great grandson Griffin, grandson Ryan and wife Maya, great grandson Asher.

Ron will receive a law enforcement escort from Doeppenschmidt Funeral Home New Braunfels at 1:30pm, Tuesday, January 28th, 2025 to Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park with full military honors provided by the USMC and graveside services at 2:00pm. A Celebration of Life will be held on March 23rd from 1:00pm to 5:00pm at the Elks Lodge located at 353 S Seguin Ave, New Braunfels.
