Rosantina "Rosa" Constancia Reyes

Beloved Mother, Sister, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother

Rosantina "Rosa" Constancia Reyes was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on May 28, 2025, in New Braunfels, at the age of 83.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesus and Maxima (Martinez) Constancia; her beloved husband, Manuel Ojeda Reyes; and her siblings, Jesus "Chuy" Constancia, Gilberto Constancia, Amalia Martinez, Dora Hurtado, and Ramona Acevedo.

Rosa is survived by her children: Alicia Reyes Gomez of Abilene, Virginia Watson and husband Dennis of New Braunfels, Rosemary Reyes of Georgia, and Marco Reyes of Hamlin; and her sister, Maria Perez of Brownwood.

She is also survived by her grandchildren: Anthony Peralez and wife Heather, and their four sons—Harper, Henley, Hudson, and Harris; Audrey Peralez and her son Braxton; Adam Peralez; Aliza Brooks and her husband Chris; Vidalia Gomez; Avaya Reyes; Evan Reyes; Maddie Jewel Reyes; and Manuel Kai Reyes; along with many extended family members and dear friends.

Rosa was a woman of strong Christian faith and a devoted member of the Catholic Church. In her younger years, she found great joy in the outdoors—often walking five to seven miles a day. She loved nature, watching wildlife, soaking in the sunshine, and even fishing. Rosa had a passion for cooking and cherished preparing home-cooked meals for her family. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who were the light of her life.

We take comfort in knowing that Rosa is now reunited with her loving husband, Manuel, likely sharing a bowl of butter pecan ice cream in Heaven.

A private graveside service and inurnment will be held at Hill Country Memorial Gardens.
