Rosina Lott was born to Domingo Cañete and Rebecca Cañete (née Bantilan) on August 31, 1964, in Cebu City, Philippines.

She passed from this life on October 14, 2024, in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 60. Rosina was a resident of San Marcos, Texas and a former resident of Denver, Colorado.

Rosina was preceded in death by her parents.

She was the second oldest of five sisters, Rowena, Rona, Rodilla, and Rachel

She is survived by her partner, Mike, her daughter, Kali; her step-daughters, Natalie and Lauren; her sisters, and her two dogs, Mickey, and Pluto.

She attended the University of Cebu in 1990 receiving a bachelor's degree in hotel and restaurant management.  She moved from the Philippines to Montana, in 1992 and lived with her best friend Tess MacMillan. She moved to Colorado in 1995 and lived there until 2022.

Rosina married James Lott, and had one child, Kali. Following Kali's birth, she attended a local university and obtained an associate's degree in nursing and became a Registered Nurse . She was the salutatorian of her class. Her nursing career lasted for over 20 years, working in hospitals, nursing homes, at-home care, and case management.

In 2012, she met Michael Hajnos, and they moved to Golden, Colorado in 2018 before moving to San Marcos, Texas in the summer of 2022.

Rose was committed to yoga and became a certified instructor, teaching in Golden, CO and then in Kissing Tree in San Marcos .

Rose enjoyed outdoor activities including hiking , skiing , surfing , biking and paddleboarding .  She loved to travel to tropical locations & Europe . Her favorite places were Hawaii (where she lived for three years on Oahu), Costa Rica, Mexico, Key West , Italy , Germany , and Greece .

She was a hard worker who loved and supported her family back home, and was the Epitome of the American Dream.

Rose was very Patriotic, and cherished her American Citizenship.
