Roy "Reb" Edell Bridgeman was born to Roy Bridgeman and Frances West on January 6th, 1957, in Madill, Oklahoma. He grew up and graduated in Kingston, Oklahoma, to later become a third-generation roofer. Reb also worked intermittently in the Oilfield Industry throughout his life.

Reb moved to the Rio Grande Valley in Texas in the 80s where he would fall in love with his wife, Debra Bridgeman. Together, they celebrated 40 years of marriage. He was known to be a master craftsman, knowledgeable in fixing just about anything. Reb was often many folks' first call when needing advice on life's challenges; he was prepared to help with kindness, patience, and generosity.

Passionate about motorcycles, he and Debra enjoyed many trips across our Nation on his Harley among friends. Reb's passion for Harleys was only trumped by his devout commitment to his beloved family. His greatest joy was being known to his grandchildren as "Grandad".

Reb is survived by his wife Debra Bridgeman, Mother Frances West, Father Roy & 2nd mom Jimmie Sue Bridgeman, his son Beau and wife Kasey Beam, Jason and wife Courtney Bridgeman, Kenneth and wife Jaclyn Bridgeman, daughter Shawna and husband Kristopher Trowbridge, bonus son, Heath and wife Kathy Renfrow. He also left behind siblings Robin Ann Oxford, Roland "Rob" Bridgeman, Rocky Joe Bridgeman, and Jessi Bridgeman. Reb's legacy was his eleven grandchildren, Chandler, Bobby, Diego, Caitlyn, Chloe, Kaden, Evellyn, Jaedyn, Aubree, Camden, and Kieran, as well as many more cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Reb's family and friends are invited to attend visitation beginning at 9 am, with Funeral Service to follow at 11am, on Friday, June the 16th, 2023 at Doeppenschmidt Funeral Home in New Braunfels, Tx. Afterwards a procession for burial at Hill Country Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The American Hearth Association or Hope Hospice of New Braunfels, Tx.
