Ruth Ann Snell peacefully passed away in Canyon Lake, Texas on August 10, 2021. She was born on June 4, 1938 and lived the majority of her life in Mont Belvieu, Texas.  She was the daughter of long-time Chambers County Commissioner H. H. McCollum and Verna (Duke) McCollum. She is survived by her son, Bill Gunter & wife Dyanne; grandchildren, Garret Gunter and Emily Gunter Bergeron; brother, Randy McCollum & wife, Nancy and nephews, Derek McCollum, Kyle McCollum and Tyler McCollum and their families.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 20, 2021 at 11:00 am at the Doeppenschmidt Funeral Home in Canyon Lake, Texas 1071 FM 2673 in Sattler., Texas.
