Sheryl "Shari" Ann Beard was born to James Henry & Carolynn Elizabeth (Fails) Bishop on December 30, 1960, in Midwest City, Oklahoma.

She passed from this life on September 26, 2025, in Canyon Lake, Texas at the age of 64.

Shari was preceded in death by her parents, James & Carolynn Bishop, siblings, David Bishop, Frederick Bishop, and Shelly Wakefield.

She is survived by her Loving Husband, Alec M. Beard of Canyon Lake; daughters, Amanda Gillen-Hall & Amy Wix & their husbands; grandchildren, Everett Gillen-Hall, Cady Gillen-Hall, Finley Gillen-Hall, Mark Embody and Maverick Wix and additional other family members and dear friends.

Shari graduated from Scarborough High School in Houston, Texas. She and Alec have been together 26 years, married for 11. They met when they both worked for Wilson's/McCoy's. She worked for Wilson's/McCoy's for 30 plus years before moving to Debner and then eventually retiring from Sue Gorman Associates. She also worked in graphic design and marketing for office furniture.

Shari & Alec attended church at Oakwood Baptist Church. She loved to read, loved the Lord, loved to cook, loved to host and entertain, and she loved to travel.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at Doeppenschmidt Funeral Home, 189 N. Seguin Ave., New Braunfels, Texas 78130, with Pastor Steve Peace officiating.
