Shirley Wells went home to be with the Lord on September 09, 2020, peacefully in her home at the age of 67, after a long battle with cancer.

Shirley was born June 9, 1953 and grew up in Devine, Texas, where she met the love of her life, Richard Wells, Sr; they married in February of 1972.  Together they raised four beautiful children together.

Shirley had a long and successful career as a LVN as well as a medical coding specialist. In Shirley's spare time, she enjoyed working in her garden and spending time her grandchildren.

Shirley is survived by her spouse, Richard Wells, Sr, her four children Sherry Powell and spouse Scott Powell, Richard Wells, Jr and spouse Jessica Wells, Al Wells and spouse Carolyn Wells, Kathy Klein and spouse Mark Klein, and brother Bill Ricks and spouse Vicki Ricks.  She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Shirley is preceded in death by her grandson, Justin Wells, mom and dad Joe Ricks, Sr and Myrtle Ricks, and brother Joe Ricks, Jr.

A memorial service will be held in her honor to celebrate her life on Saturday, September 19 ^th , 2020, at Roszell Gardens in San Antonio.
