Stacy Alan Vercher, 53, of New Braunfels, passed away surrounded by family at Christus Santa Rosa Hospital on January 11, 2021.

Stace was born in Houston, TX on August 18, 1967 to Thurman Allen Vercher and Tommie Sue Rabon. He was a part of the New Braunfels High School graduating class of 1985. He received a Bachelors in Economics from the University of Texas in 1988, and continued his education at Southwest Texas University completing his Masters in Accounting. He later opened his own accounting firm here in New Braunfels.

Stace is survived by his parents; his children, Cassidy Lane Vercher and Connor Blake Vercher of New Braunfels; his brother Jeffrey Scott Vercher of the U.S. Virgin Islands; his step brothers John J. Rabon III of McKinney, TX and Chance A. Rabon of Houston, TX; and his granddaughter Saylor Rayne Ware of New Braunfels.

Stace was a devoted hardworking father, who would do anything for his children. He called his new granddaughter the "new heart beat" in his life, and was proud to be her Paw Paw. The love and compassion he had for others was one of a kind. He had a unique personality that could not be forgotten. Whether it as enjoying a beer at the Comal County Fair or hanging out with his friends at the Phoenix Saloon, it was the little things this town had to offer that Stace appreciated and relished. He will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
