Steven Ray Ford was born to Ulys Joedean & Patsy Ruth (Salter) Ford on July 15, 1954 in Chickasha, Oklahoma.

He passed from this life on March 18, 2024 in New Braunfels, Texas at the age of 69.

Steven was preceded in death by his parents and his brother & sister-in-law, Larry Ford & wife, Shirley.

He is survived by his loving wife, Teri Ford of New Braunfels; children, Michael Cass & wife, Tammy of New Braunfels, Andrea Stone & husband, Tom of Clear Lake, Texas, Kelsey Farr & husband, Drew and his youngest Travis Ford, all of New Braunfels; brother, Roger Ford & wife, Sherri of Wellston, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Will Cass, Kaylin Cass, Lexi Cass, Olivia Cass, Audrey Stone, Patrick Stone, Lane Farr and Linden Farr and mother-in-law, Lou Durst.

Steve attended Lindsay High School and John Brown University. He loved everything baseball, his years from working with the Dodgers farm system to umpiring for New Braunfels Little League. He had a passion for music from his time with Sound Generation to local gigs with Island Texas. He toured with Roy Clark and appeared on Hee Haw. He loved his children and grandchildren and was happiest spending time with them.

A Celebration of Life will be held at (12-5) PM on April 13, 2024

at Fiddler's Gruene, (832 Gruene Road, New Braunfels, Texas, 78130)

Come and go as you please from 12 to 5. The Georges perform from 12:30 to 1 pm.

Tribute speakers from 2 to 3. We will be sharing some of our favorite stories to laugh, cry, and remember the life of Steve Ford.
