Susan Gail Allison, 64, of Waxahachie, Texas went to be with the Lord on October 26, 2022 while at home with her beloved husband David.  She was born on June 27, 1958 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Bob and Darlene (Meadows) Arganbright.  Susan was preceded in death by her brother Robert and her Father and Mother.  She is survived by her husband of 26 years David, daughter Jesse (Thomas) Allison Agrachov of New Jersey; cherished Emmy to grandchildren Addison and Corbin Agrachov; dear sister Robin (Rick) Womack and nieces Caroline Womack and Kelly (Ryan) Crowe.

After graduating from Northern Illinois University, Susan enjoyed a successful career in business working for various companies.  She recently retired from Michael's Stores, Inc. as Divisional Director-Private Brand.  Her free time was spent enjoying time traveling with her husband and visiting her grandchildren.   Susan loved caring for dogs and horses.  She volunteered her time with Angie's Friends rescuing dogs.  She was an accomplished horse rider and had a special bond with horses.  On a recent trip to Montana, Susan and David observed wild horses and, as they watched, one pony came up to Susan and let her stroke its head. Their guide was astonished and said these wild horses just don't do that – ever!

A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday November 7, 2022 at the Bryant-Wilburn Family Cemetery located at 999 Schwarzlose Road in new Braunfels, Texas, 78130.

A foundation is being established in Susan's name for Dr. Mehmet Altan's Clinical Cancer Research at M.D. Anderson in Houston, Texas.
