Tammy Lynette (Parker) Luehlfing was born to Robert L. & Wanda F. (Koonce) Parker on April 6, 1963, in Houston, Texas. She passed from life on January 12, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Tammy was an extremely loving wife, mother, daughter, sister. All roles she loved. But her role as Mamaw to her grandchildren was her favorite.

She is survived by her husband, Larry A. Luehlfing of Canyon Lake; daughter, Jennifer Luehlfing Garza (Lee) of New Braunfels; son, Dillon Luehlfing (Amanda Krause) of Fischer; parents, Robert & Wanda Parker; father-in-law & mother-in-law, Clifford & Betty Dietz; grandchildren, Brooke Garza, Blaire Garza, Lainey Luehlfing, Addie McIntire and Huntleigh McIntire; sisters, Dana Gottsberger (Mark) and Michelle Seligman (Chuck), numerous other relatives and dear friends that she loved. And last but not least she is survived by "The Favorite Child", her beloved fur baby, Tehya, her 14 year old Catahoula.

Tammy was a graduate of Smithson Valley High School; Tammy retired from GVTC Communications after 26 years. She previously volunteered at and attended Oakwood Baptist Church and also loved to watch online. She very much-admired Pastor Ray Still.

She loved animals. One glance at her Facebook page shows her continuous concern via sharing "lost dogs" to help them reunite with their families. She loved watching the many birds and squirrels that would partake in the feeders she provided for them. We will always think of her when we see Hummingbirds as those were her favorite to watch.

Tammy LOVED LOVED LOVED to travel: Vegas was her most frequent destination (Craps was her favorite game and she taught many how to play); Colorado (driving around and seeing the beauty of the mountains), Tammy & Larry, who were married for 43 years, enjoyed a road trip down the PCH (Pacific Coast Highway); They were married on July 11th, 1981 and Tammy would tell her favorite vacation was celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary on an Alaskan Cruise in 2006; they also went to Hawaii for their 30th anniversary and she enjoyed a nice road trip from Maine to Boston following the coastline.

She visited Europe many times and Tammy loved the Queen! In fact, she happened to be in England and doing "all things royal" by visiting the castles at the time of the Queens passing. On that particular visit, the day they arrived was the same day the Queen passed away and all tours were cancelled. Tammy still had a wonderful time and had the opportunity to take part in the history of seeing and visiting the Queens castle, bringing flowers, and all the events that took place during that time of grieving.  Tammy also was a big fan of Elvis and she saw all his movies multiple times and loved playing his music.

Tammy loved and was "so good" and creative at Scrapbooking. She has made many scrapbooks documenting her travels, children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed playing the Wahoo marble game, Yahtzee, Uno with her grandchildren. Another favorite pastime was Shopping and Estate Sales. She and her daughter Jennifer had a standing date at 5 AM, occasionally even earlier, each year on Black Friday to shop together.

Halloween was her favorite Holiday. Tammy loved to fully decorate and dress in costume. Her favorite food was Shrimp, and her favorite dessert was Lemon Meringue Pie.

A Memorial Service will be held to Celebrate her Life at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at Oakwood Baptist Church with Pastor Ray Still officiating.

Following her Celebration of Life, a reception will be held immediately after at: Kings & Queens Ballroom, 442 Stolte Rd., New Braunfels, TX 78130.

The family would like you all to join them at the reception to share stories and fellowship.
