Ted Glenn Sanderfer, age 75, of New Braunfels, Texas, passed away peacefully on September 17, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family.

Ted was born on October 19, 1950, in Corpus Christi, Texas, to E.L. (Sonny) and Billie Sue Sanderfer. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend who enjoyed spending time with his family, serving his church, and being outdoors.

For 53 years, Ted shared a loving and devoted marriage with his beloved wife, Debra Sanderfer. Together they built a life centered on faith, family, and cherished traditions, creating memories that will be treasured by their loved ones for generations to come.

Ted dedicated much of his professional life to Bay Ltd., where he worked as an Estimator for most of his career. He was respected for his strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence. Through his work, he built lasting friendships and earned the admiration of colleagues who valued his knowledge, integrity, and reliability.

A faithful Christian, Ted was a longtime member of Jackson Woods Presbyterian Church (Corpus Christi, Texas), where he faithfully served as an Elder. His church family held a special place in his heart, and he demonstrated his faith through service, compassion, and a steadfast commitment to helping others.

Ted was an avid hunter who loved the outdoors. His hunting buddies affectionately nicknamed him "Precious," a name that reflected the friendships and camaraderie he valued throughout his life. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Ted was preceded in death by his parents, E.L.(Sonny) and Billie Sue Sanderfer, and his sister, Becky Buonavolonte, and granddaughter, Grace Addison Mayes.

Ted is survived by his beloved wife, Debra Sanderfer; his son, Byron (Misty) Sanderfer of New Braunfels, TX; his daughter, Jennifer (Scott) Jacobson of Elizabeth, CO; his cherished grandsons, Carson Mayes, Brody Sanderfer, and Brady Sanderfer; and his sister, Susan York of Oakville, TX and a niece and nephews. His greatest pride and joy came from his family, and he especially loved spending time with his grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Jackson Woods Presbyterian Church in honor of Ted.
