Virgil Patrick "Pat" Knight, 85, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away on October 14, 2021 in San Antonio. Born to Virgil and Jewelle Knight in Springfield, Mo.

After starting college on a musical scholarship, he graduated from the Missouri School of Mines with honors and a degree in Chemical Engineering.

Pat spent 36 years with Texaco in Texas, Oklahoma, and New York. His business assignments involved activities in North and South America, Europe, Asia and Australia. He was a professional engineer and was active in several industry organizations.

He was married 62 years to his high school sweetheart, Barbara Jo "Bobbie" Shockley. They enjoyed many years and many miles of RV travels in mainland United States and Canada.

Pat is also survived by his daughters, Kay Robison and husband Kevin, and Cindy McCormick and husband Ken. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Kyle and wife Alyssa, Kelsey and husband Michael, Katy, and Jared, and great – grandchildren, Adelynn, Kolton, Amelia, Alexander, and Jaxson.

A private burial will take place in the Columbarium in Hill Country Memorial Gardens in New Braunfels, Texas.
