Carmen F. Mendez, joined her Lord and Savior on January 25, 2026, at the age of 104 after a full and blessed life. We will miss her in every way but know in our hearts that she will always be with us in spirit.  To Mom, her family was of the utmost importance, and she continuously prayed for her family in order to keep all of us safe.  Her legacy of faith and prayer has laid the foundation for our family that has held us together and will continue to do so.  Though she will be deeply missed, her spirit, faith, and the light she brought into the lives of her family and others will remain forever.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Holy Family Church in New Braunfels, Texas on Thursday, January 29, 2026, at 1:00 PM and will be officiated by Father Francois Rakotovoavy.  A private family burial will be held at the Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery.

Carmen's family thank her dedicated and kind caregivers and dear friends for all their love and support.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Holy Family Church in Carmen's honor.
