Conrad Michael Kuntz was born on May 17, 2000, in San Antonio, Texas to parents Ronald Ray and Suzanne Marie (Spray) Kuntz. Conrad passed from this life unexpectedly on June 18, 2017 in New Braunfels, Texas at the age of 17 years, 1 month, and 1 day.

Preceded in death by his grandmothers, Stella Klaes and Judy Kuntz, Conrad Michael Kuntz is survived by his loving parents, Ron and Suzanne Kuntz, and his sister, Stella Kuntz, all of New Braunfels. Conrad is also survived by grandfathers, Thomas Spray of Florida and Robert Kuntz of Colorado; uncle, Barrett Spray of Florida; aunt, Tina Kuntz of Colorado; and a broad circle of relatives, friends, classmates, and coworkers.

A beloved son, brother, and friend, Conrad excelled at school, always near the top of his class. Athletics came easily to Conrad and in addition to representing his high school in swimming, he loved the thrills and challenges of snowboarding and wakeboarding.

While Conrad enjoyed earning victories in any sport he participated in, he loved improving his skills and the camaraderie of spending time with team members even more.

Last Saturday, Conrad spent the day doing what he had been doing for the past two summers – working the tube chutes on the river and entertaining his coworkers with his good-natured antics and contagious laughter as they went about their summer job duties.

Conrad Michael Kuntz was kind, warm, smart, funny, loving, and joyful and he will be forever loved and missed by all who knew him, and especially by his loving parents, sister, family, and friends.

Memorial Services for Conrad Michael Kuntz will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, June 22, 2017 at Tree of Life Church in New Braunfels, Texas.
