Glenna Ruth Davis (née Boye), age 80, passed away on December 15, 2025, in New Braunfels, Texas. Born on October 26, 1945, in Richlands, Virginia, Glenna lived a full and vibrant life defined by compassion, resilience, and an unwavering spirit.

Glenna was the daughter of Virginia and Glenn Boye and grew up in a close-knit family that shaped her strong values and independent nature. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister Alice; her brother-in-law Joe Tate; and her cherished canine companions Marty, Susie, and Max.

A devoted mother and grandmother, Glenna is lovingly remembered by her sister Jeri Tate of Marion, Virginia; her two sons, Robert "Spike" Blevins (Karen) and Chris Blevins (Jennifer); five grandchildren—Barrett Blevins (Erica), Kendall Blevins Troncoso, Cailey Blevins, Lauren Blevins, and Britney Blevins; and four great-grandchildren—Amelia Troncoso, Laurel Troncoso, Brooks Blevins, and Baker Blevins. Her family was a source of immense pride and joy throughout her life.

Glenna's work ethic was unmatched. She was hardworking throughout her life and approached every task with determination and integrity. Yet it was her heart for animals—especially shelter dogs—that truly defined much of her later years. Volunteering at several animal shelters brought Glenna deep fulfillment. Her compassion led her to adopt two dogs from these shelters—Susie and Max—who became beloved members of her family.

Her love for animals was only matched by her love for the coast. Glenna found peace in the sun and sand, often retreating to the shoreline to relax and recharge. She remained active well into her later years, participating in multiple workout classes that kept both her body and spirit energized. Staying busy wasn't just a preference—it was a way of life for Glenna

Known for her magnetic personality, Glenna never met a stranger. She had an extraordinary ability to walk into any room and leave with new friends. Her warmth extended beyond conversation—she was always ready to lend a hand to anyone in need. Strong-willed yet kind-hearted, she lived life on her own terms with grace and courage.

Glenna's legacy is one of strength, kindness, independence, and boundless generosity. May her memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her.
