Mary-Ellen Hellman was born to ­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­Albert and Jewell Sykes on December 24, 1941, in Bay City Texas.

Mary-Ellen walked into the arms of Jesus on December 25, 2025.

Mary-Ellen was a woman of unwavering faith and devotion to Christ.  She had many passions including needlework, reading, traveling and being in God's Word.  She spent may nights with a good book or passing the time talking over the phone to her many special friends. She Loved Texas and loved life in the Texas Hill Country.

Mary-Ellen is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Herman Lewis Hellman, Jr.; son, Herman Lewis Hellman III "Tre", and her daughter, Heather Leigh Hellman.

She is survived by her grandson, Craig Hearne, wife Gabriela and great-grandsons, Hayden and Josiah, as well as numerous cousins.

A celebration of life will be held at First Baptist Church New Braunfels on Thursday, January 8, 2025, at 2:00 p.m.
