Sue has been in the funeral industry for over 20 years. She takes great pride in being a funeral director and feels very fortunate to be a part of the Doeppenschmidt Family Team. She has been working at Doeppenschmidt as a part-time director for nearly 15 years. Sue has been married to her husband Tom for over 40 years and they live in LaVernia where they enjoy raising goats. They are blessed with three children, Kelsey (& husband, Marty), MacKenzie (& husband, Kendon) and Tommy (& wife, Abby). Granddaughters, Harper Shaw, Hattie Rose Shaw & Hillary Shaw and grandsons, Hyatt Shaw, Elliot Woodard, Emmet Woodard & Bodie Fletcher, "rock their world"!. Sue has a BFA in Theatre Arts from Texas Tech University and is a certified teacher in addition to her career as a funeral director. She is from the panhandle of Texas and proudly owns all of the family land that belonged to her parents where they primarily grow cotton.
